Positive Life launches new corporate program Northern Ireland Buyers Club

Positive Life, Northern Ireland’s only charity dedicated to supporting people affected by HIV, launched a new corporate partnership initiative at an event at the Europa Hotel in Belfast.

now known as the “Northern Ireland Buyers Club”, the project will see Positive Life working with business leaders, support organizations and philanthropic individuals to support its long-term strategic goals.

The organization aims to achieve ambitious new goals of reducing levels of HIV-related stigma in Northern Ireland, and with the launch of the club will now be able to commission new research, new projects and a targeted education campaign.

More than 100 guests at the event in May heard from founding members of the Northern Ireland Buyers Club, including Mark Regan, managing director of Kingsbridge Healthcare Group and Ciaran Moynagh, partner at Phoenix Law, as well as the former Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councilor Kate Nicholl and Positive Life Chief Executive Jacquie Richardson.

The launch sees Positive Life embark on an ongoing engagement campaign to rapidly grow membership and make lasting social impact.

Led by Managing Director, Jacquie Richardson, the Buyers Club will see Positive Life rethink its funding model by incorporating collaboration with the business community. Beyond traditional sources, Positive Life will diversify its income and improve its long-term financial viability post-pandemic.
