Meghan recounts Halloween night with Harry before romance hit the headlines

Meghan Markle described how she dated Prince Harry for “one last fun night” before their relationship was revealed to the world.

The playful interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres came just days after Meghan (40) apologized for misleading the UK High Court about his collaboration with the authors of the biography Find freedom.

She avoided controversy, however, avoiding any mention of the legal battle with the Mail on Sunday, politics, racism or the British royal family.

Instead, Meghan, in a £ 1,336 (€ 1,586) Oscar de la Renta white blouse, stayed on safer ground, animatedly discussing her five-month-old daughter Lili’s teething, from her days as a struggling actress and her children’s book. The bench.

The hour-long interview was Meghan’s first solo TV appearance since she and Harry left Britain, and her first since the couple’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey that plunged the royal family into a crisis of racism.

Meghan recalled one night in October 2016 when Harry was visiting her in Toronto and they decided to dress up and go to a party in disguise.

The couple had been secretly dating for nearly four months, but the relationship finally came to light over the weekend in a UK newspaper.

She said of Harry: “He came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came too,” she said.

“And the four of us snuck into Halloween costumes for a fun night on the town before we were a couple in the world.”

“It was a post-apocalypse theme. So we had all these really weird costumes and we kind of got to have a fun last night.”
