Co Fermanagh community “shaken” by several stab wounds


A community in Co Fermanagh was “shaken” after three people were stabbed on Monday.

Two 18-year-old men and another 20-year-old man were taken to hospital for treatment for stab wounds after reports of an attack on Lettergreen Road in the Donagh area of ​​County D ‘North Ireland.

The attack took place around 6 a.m. on Monday.

Local DUP MP Deborah Erskine urged anyone with information to come forward.

“It is a horrific and very concerning incident that has taken place in Donagh. My thoughts are with those who were taken to hospital and it is important that the police receive all the information so that a full investigation can take place. “

SDLP Fermanagh adviser Adam Gannon said Monday: “I was shocked and alarmed to hear reports of a triple stabbing in the small village of Donagh in the early hours of Monday morning.

“This violent incident will shake up this quiet community, which is not used to such scenes in its streets.

“Any assault that results in three people in hospital must be treated with the utmost seriousness and it is of particular concern that a weapon was used in this attack.”

Police in Northern Ireland are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
